The one thing I am passionate about...
I was originally from the East Coast where life centered around work and in a way, work was a passion. I enjoyed it because of the challenges. On the other hand, I have always had a passion for learning. Living here in LA, I have come to embrace life outside of work with equal, if not, greater passion and enthusiasm because of the opportunities to explore new ideas, places, and things.
I typically spend my leisure time
Hmmm, when I'm not playing softball, taking salsa lessons, hitting tennis balls, pretending to play golf, singing karaoke, watching football, hanging out with friends and family, surfing the net, listening to music, talking current events/politics/economics/meaning of life, sitting in traffic, paying bills, lounging on the couch, or cooking dinner, then I like spend my leisure time sleeping.
The most influential person in my life has been
The first thing people notice about me
That I'm a nice guy with an easy-going, optimistic personality.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I read Blink. The author Malcolm Gladwell describes fascinating anecdotes of how snap decisions made in the moment and gut feeling based on past experiences can be more meaningful than deliberate analytical decision-making. How often does it seem like the simple intuitive answer turns out to be the right one?
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My family, particularly, now that they are more than 2,000 miles away
- My friends, who have been with me through the good, the bad, and everything in-between
- My health that has allowed me to enjoy my time with family and friends
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I'm more than a nice guy.
Friends Describe me as
Easy-Going, Genuine, Loyal, Optimistic
A little more about me
Me? I am a bit of a throwback to an earlier generation. Call me sentimental, a bit of a romantic for the traditional. I'm looking, but I'm a big believer in being friends first. Relationships like all things that matter in life are best when aged like a fine glass of wine, sipped and savored at each moment, and enjoyed to its fullest.
