More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about exploring people's feelings through writing and conversation. I love to listen to people's experiences and lives. I enjoy writing and journaling; particularly in regard to what it is that brings us joy and sadness and everything in between.

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, doing photography, going to movies & theaters, walking around the lake or sometime various trails in the state, I enjoy going out and listening to music and socializing too.

The most influential person in my life has been

The ability to dream and believe. Let me explain; in this world, as adults we often lose our dreams and our belief in our selves and others. I'd like to find someone who still believes in her dreams, still sees the world with wonder, and still believes that there is good among all the 'stuff' of life.

The first thing people notice about me

That I talk and communicate and let a relationship develop at it's own pace. I want to hear about you. I want to know as much as I can

The last book I read and enjoyed

The poetry of Robert Frost...it was a complete collection of Frost's poems and writings. I found several poems that were about life and simple things such as 'The Road Not Taken" that are wonderful and applicable today.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My children.
  2. That I have found that if you give trust and respect you get it back in spades
  3. That even in the face if disaster there is always someone reaching out a helping hand.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Hmmm...that I really am who and what I say I am....everyday.
