More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I truly enjoy my work. I love being a trauma chaplain. It is my ministry, my heart, and my soul. It is one of the things that give me life and heart. I love to travel. I love to read. As an English major in college, I love to spend time with any good book or short story. Spending time with family and friends are essential and staples of my life. I especially love entertaining friends in my home. I find such joy when being with others

I typically spend my leisure time

I usually spend my time reading, going to the movies, and going to dinner with friends.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who truly loves me for who I am. I also want someone who is romantic and likes to have fun. Someone who is FUN! It can be spending an evening going out to dinner or simply being with friends over a cup of coffee. I am really desiring to find someone who will be a life long friend. I want him to wake up every morning and tell me that he loves me. I want him to see me at my best, even when I am at my worst. I want him to look at me and fall more in love with me at every glance.

The first thing people notice about me

They always say that I am sweet and spunky. My personality type is one people can seem to get along with and seem to find easy to be around. I have several friends who would tell you that I am very driven and, at times, can be competitive if it is something I am passionate about. They would also tell you that I love ministry with children.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read was "A Grace Disguised." It shows how God's grace is in every situation whether we realize it or not. It is extremely important to understand this concept considering the work that I do with the dying and sick. Another weakness are Christian romance novels. I love to settle into a rainy afternoon, cover up on the couch, and read!

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My ministry
  2. My family and friends
  3. My opportunites

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I am passionate about many things. I do not know if people realize the topics that are most important to me. Some of those topics include my faith, my ministry, my desire to have a friend/husband and family, and the desire to live life to the fullest. I wish my friends could see more into my heart and the person that I truly am - The thoughtful and feeling. I tend to hide parts of the real me until I know the person extremely well. I am very trusting, but there are parts of me that are only revealed after a true, loving relationship has formed.

A little more about me

I heard it once said that "Eventually everyone's butt begins to get wrinkled and look saggy." I think that is very true. I guess one of the reasons that I filled this out is that I have hope that I will find someone who loves me even when my butt gets old, wrinkled, and saggy!
