The one thing I am passionate about...
I am most passionate about taking the time to experience and enjoy the world around me,to "take time to smell the roses".I feel work has its place, but should not be all encompassing. I love traveling and doing outside activities: tennis, walking, boating, biking, concerts, strolls on the beach.
I typically spend my leisure time
I love spending time doing anything outside: playing tennis, bike riding, boating, kayaking, walking, outdoor concerts, traveling. When indoors, I play piano, read books, watch movies.
The most influential person in my life has been
Honesty is the most important quality. It is the most essential building block of all relationships. Also important to me is respect for self, others, and nature. A positive, optimistic attitude is essential as well, and someone who enjoys living life to the fullest and enjoying a variety of activities...from being outdoors to enjoying concerts, etc.
The first thing people notice about me
My sweet and caring nature. I'm a good listener and always willing to help people. My positive outlook on life is something that everyone notices. I'm lighthearted and bring smiles and a type of radiance to any situation or gathering.
The last book I read and enjoyed
"Pulling Your Own Strings" by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer. He's a terrific author that guides the reader into developing new attitudes towards positive thinking, achieving personal goals, and taking charge of one's life.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My children
- My good life: health, steady income, home
- The beauty in nature and the world around me.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That even though I don't normally have a lot to say in new social gatherings, it's because I'm listening and enjoying everyone's uniqueness. Once they get to know me, they find out I'm a multi-faceted "jewel" that makes a terrific friend and companion.
Friends Describe me as
Affectionate, Caring, Romantic, Sweet
A little more about me
Not really...as I think half the fun of a new relationship is slowly peeling away the layers of each other's personality through shared experiences and eventually getting to know the true "core" of another person. If too much is told too soon, it spoils the "mystery"!
