More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm definitely passionate about music. My taste for it abounds and gets stronger all the time. I take lessons for bass with a master, and I play Jazz, Funk, Rock and some Soul and Reggae too. I'm even itching to learn Latin someday. I love to see it live and share the experience with anyone willing to come along. Once is a while I'll play a few songs at a live club in DC. Music brings me an inner peace. I meet wonderful people, and other musicians when I'm out playing or listening.

I typically spend my leisure time

Right now.....on my 3 days off I go to school and take classes part time, I go to small clubs to see live music and relax, I take music lessons, and go rock climbing with my friends.

The most influential person in my life has been

Perhaps someone who is less about who you are and what you do, and more about being themselves and finding out what living and learning is all about. Someone who has all the answers is as boring as someone who deosn't have a clue. But instead of trying to over analyze the question, the best things are of unknown forces waiting to be discovered.

The first thing people notice about me

Probably that I would rather do something to learn it, and be right in it rather than be a spectator. Or perhaps, this may sound weird as I don't advertise it, that I may have a slightly non traditional American outlook on the world.

The last book I read and enjoyed

College Algebra 8th edition...Haha, NO. Hmmmm, probably John Locke's Second Treatise On Government. It was basically all the espountings of Capitalim and Communism well before either of those were clearly drawn up, from a guy who lived 400 years ago, pretty cool.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My health. This you cannot buy. For physical or mental regards.
  2. My music. I am so glad to be a party to create it with my own hands. I always tell myself its a soul gift of art.
  3. I've been to enough places to know how blessed we are in this part of the world.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I would rather be involved in pursuing music all day every day if I could (hey I could win the lotto or something) ;)

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Good listener, Hard Working, Intelligent
