More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My passion in life revolves around my faith; God, family, the sanctity of life, the importance of treating our most vulnerable in society (the poor, the elderly, the young) with respect, compassion, and dignity.More recently one of my true passions in life has become massage. I studied for and received my license in Dec. 2005. Since then I have learned so much through working with various clients. The power of touch, especially in a society that does not promote it, has been such a gift that I have been able to share with others. I get so much out of being able to touch others lives and watch them heal both physically and spiritually.

I typically spend my leisure time

I enjoy reading, yoga, working out, watching movies, spending time with my neices and nephews, going out for dinner or a "drink" (a coke or hot cocoa)with friends, walking (especially down at the beach), working on some of my crafts, and praying and working on my relationship with God.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is honest, open, family oriented, and has a deep and strong faith......and love for God.

The first thing people notice about me

My ability to laugh at myself (I have a tendancy to make a fool of myself very easily...I can be some what of a klutz!) and make others laugh.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Terra Nostra by Carlos Fuentes. I do have to admit I had a hard time realy getting into this book, but after I finished it I realized the amazing "points" he was making throught out all of it. How our past present and future are so intricately intertwined....and no matter what we do and what lessons we learn we as humans end up repeating history.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My Health
  2. My Faith and relationship with God
  3. My Family and Friends

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Because I tend to be shy in social settings where I don't know people, I think people perceive me to be unaproachable. I am actually a very fun person to be around and I love getting to know new people and learn all about them. I am very attentive.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Romantic, Spiritual, Thoughtful
