More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about traveling and seeing new areas and experiencing new cultures. I am not quite so passionate about trying new cuisine, but I love everything else about traveling.

I typically spend my leisure time

I spend alot of my leisure time around the house. I am either working on a project indoors or outside and sometimes just reading a good book.

The most influential person in my life has been

I am looking for someone who wants to have fun and explore the world they live in. Finding the humorous side of life and sharing that, is one of the most attractive qualities.

The first thing people notice about me

That I am quiet and reserved at first. It takes me a while to feel comfortable with some people. With some it can take a few meetings and others, just a matter of minutes.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Currently I am reading "The Shelters of Stone." It is the fifth book in the Jean Auel "Earth's Children" series. It is about the authors beliefs regarding the first humans and how they came to adapt and live in their raw world. What I enjoy most about the book is that it takes me to a place I have no concept of, and makes it real. It teaches me about flexibility and adaptability. It is fascinating to look back on how we may have first developed some of our very common tools for life.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I am thankful for my family and being close to them.
  2. I am thankful for great friends who will always be by my side and keep me laughing when times are hard.
  3. I am thankful for a good solid career that can support my needs, wants and desires.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

How much I love life. Part of life to me is laughing and finding the simple pleasures in it. There is nothing I love more than laughing.
