More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

One of the things I am passionate about is music. I spend much of my workday with my iPod on random, it's basically like a personal radio station where you like every song that comes on. It keeps time passing swiftly and can improve, or be in tune with my state of mind.

I typically spend my leisure time

I like to spend my time hanging out with a couple of friends, or relaxing at home. With friends I prefer to do something a little active, such as play golf, tennis, or even a board game, as opposed to sitting at someone's house watching a movie or TV.

The most influential person in my life has been

To be my best friend. Ideally I would like a person that not only shares some of my interests, but also has interests of her own. This way we have things to do in common, things to do apart, and things to learn from each other's varied interests.

The first thing people notice about me

People probably first notice that I am quiet, which is generally true. However, once I get to know someone, I open up.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The book was The Wind Up Bird Chronicle. I always enjoy reading Haruki Murakami because he creates these realities that are just slightly off, and I feel like they would be wonderful to live in.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Everything my mother did for me.
  2. Everything my friends have done for me.
  3. Everything my family has done for me.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I think some people come away thinking I don't care about things because I don't always voice my compassion. I usually just feel like saying something would be too obvious, like an old afterschool special.

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Intelligent, Perceptive, Quiet
