More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I try to maintain a healthy balance in life and enjoy variety. I am however, particularly passionate about healthy eating and exercise, country and latin dancing, and learning about human nature through my field of study: psychology. I love sports, particularly soccer, yoga, and weights. I enjoy reading books on psychology and having philosophical discussions. I also love nature and the outdoors, traveling and getting to know different people and cultures. There's a spiritual side to me and I like to practice meditation on a regular basis.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love sports, particularly soccer, yoga, and weights. I enjoy going to the movies, reading a good book, or just spending time with friends or family. I also enjoy giving or receiving a good massage from a girl I'm involved with.

The most influential person in my life has been

Wholeness. Someone who maximises on their strengths but is also aware of their imperfections and understands that humility and humor are essential to being genuine and being human. Someone who strives to live by values but is comfortable with their idiosyncracies and comfortable being human.

The first thing people notice about me

I may come across as reserved and mysterious at first.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"The Heart of History", is a profound look at history from a psychological point of view. A psychohistorical biography of the world. According to the author events in history have revealed the purposive aims of the psyche, the development of the full individual, democracy, and eventually compassion and unity. What I love most about it is that it gives meaning to life and human history, and credibility to such values as "compassion" from an empirical point of view. It's a beautiful marriage between spirituality and science, and what in reality is the birth of psychology in modern times.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My spiritual faith and the opportunity to grow and deepen my understanding about self & life.
  2. My loved ones, family, and friends.
  3. The experience of life, the mystery and beauty of it all.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Once people get to know me they find out that I am playful, likeable, outrageous.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Good listener, Quiet, Thoughtful

A little more about me

There is a thoughtful and sensitive side to me, but I'm also rough around the edges and like to enjoy life. I think "balance" is a good philosophy to live by, so I hope to attract someone similar.
