More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about my family and friendships with people from the different stages of my life and also as an educator, being involved with adolescents who are discovering who they are and the world around them.

I typically spend my leisure time

Exercising, cooking & entertaining, reading, & listening to music. I am a novice hiker since I have moved to the southwest where hiking is the norm.

The most influential person in my life has been

I am looking for compatability and honesty. I enjoy experiencing new things, finding the humor in life and creating a balance in my life. Compatability ensures that life's experiences are shared while keeping life balanced and honesty provides the foundation for a relationship.

The first thing people notice about me

Other than my tendency to blush easily? Hmmm...maybe that I laugh easily....although people often ask me about the perfume that I wear!

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Shutter Island" by Dennis Lehane. Good fiction about a 1950's federal marshal who must investigate the disappearance of a patient in a psychiatric hospital located on Shutter Island with a great twist at the end.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. An interesting family & wonderful friends
  2. Good health & challenging career
  3. Second chances...no one is perfect

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

People have preconceived notions about a person who a principal is...and I am not quite as intense as people may want to believe. I endure alot of "when I was sent to the principal's office" stories.

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Hard Working, Loyal, Optimistic

A little more about me

I am a transplant to New Mexico from Pennsylvania so needless to say I have lots of frequent flier miles!
