More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My family and my animals. That doesn't take 50 words to figure out! Two siblings I love (argue with, but still love!) I have a dog (puppy) and cats and horses. My cats sleep with me and that isn't likely to change...

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, animals, reading, cooking, reading, gardening...oh and did I mention reading?

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who doesn't take themself too seriously. Humans are just a fly spec on the window that is the universe.

The first thing people notice about me

My laugh. No, I don't sound like "the Nanny"!

The last book I read and enjoyed

I've just edited this section because I'm reading Michael Moore's "Dude, where is my country?". I've always been "left wing" but if you are STILL a Bush supporter, you need to READ this book! He is also known for his award winning "Bowling for Columbine" movie.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Reasonably good health despite my not always healthy habits
  2. My love of reading (thanks, mom!)
  3. My sense of humor - life is bizarre! I take it seriously but sometimes you just have to laugh!

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm not really a cold b**ch. I'm just not a "warm, fuzzy" person until I get to know you.

Friends Describe me as

Articulate, Funny, Generous, Intelligent

A little more about me

If I were to have a tombstone (which I probably won't) I would like it to read that this world is the slightest bit better off because I spent a nanosecond of time here. If your are breathing the air, you should be doing SOMETHING to make it a better world. It doesn't have to be a big thing! Random acts of kindness are good!
