More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate when it comes to my intellectual development, and education.

I typically spend my leisure time

Well I read, watch lots of movies, play a few video and board games, hang out with friends, and sleep. Oh, when your in grad school, sleep is like a dream.

The most influential person in my life has been

A sense of humour. Naturally, one that compliments mine.

The first thing people notice about me

I hate these types of questions. I am me, not other people. So how am I supposed to know what other people think. Am I to tell you what I'm most proud of (and then project these feelings on others), or am I to (gasp) ask others what they think of me when I first meet them? I rather remain blissfully ignorant.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Well, it's a graphic novel called Maus, a serious piece in two volumes that deals with a father's experience during the holocaust and the tense relationship that he has with his son in the 70's. I've seen a number of movies and read a couple of books about the holocaust, but never one that tied in the next generation and seemed so personal. Of course, I feel kind of ashamed admitting that I actually enjoyed "a comic book" so much, but it really is one of the best novels that I have read in a long while and quite truthfully the message is more important than the medium.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. family
  2. job stability
  3. life in general

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My niece is really awesome. I guess I wish they knew that.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Genuine, Good listener, Intelligent
