More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about creating things. I love building things or making things or just planning things. I'm passionate about great, fun ideas even if they never amount to anything! After that, I am passionate about dogs - mostly my two spoiled cocker spaniels.

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to read, but I do that mostly at night. Typically, I am puttering around the house, fixing something, working in the garden, playing with my dogs or meeting girlfriends for a great dinner or theater show.

The most influential person in my life has been

Hmmm, well, I have this issue with TRUSTING people. I find myself drawn to those with whom I feel safe with. Betrayal devastates me. So the quality that is most important to me is loyalty.

The first thing people notice about me

Hopefully, they sense my energy and enthusiasm. I've been told that I am very hard to get to know - that I seem aloof and distant. Probably true, but I save my best stuff for the people I care about!

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm currently reading "Winter Range" by Claire Davis. This is a novel about the difficulties of cattle ranching in Montana and the relationships of the people involved in this challenging lifestyle. I am most disturbed by the poor treatment of the animals in this book and have almost put it down several times, but I am compelled to find out how it ends.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My ability to provide for myself and own my OWN house!
  2. My ability to bounce back
  3. My unwavering sense of humor

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My fierce loyalty and extremely silly side - (perhaps it's best that they don't notice the silly side right away...I can be a real dork sometimes!)

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Funny, Loyal, Outgoing

A little more about me

Well, I talk baby talk to my dogs. It's really pathetic.
