The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about life, and living it fully. I want to live my life with no regrets, learn from my mistakes and let God turn them into something beautiful. I am excited to see what the future brings, but I'm not waiting for that future to start living my life.
I typically spend my leisure time
I have two dogs that I take running, I love reading, gardening (yey for spring), chilling with friends in places with great atmosphere... I don' have much leisure time, though.
The most influential person in my life has been
Someone who is driven to love God and other people actively and passionately. I want a partner who can encourage me, not just by telling me what I'm doing right, but who pushes me on in the right direction even when I feel like giving in. I want someone in my life who genuinely knows me, understands me, loves me, even likes me! :) I want a man who is a leader, but not someone who has to walk all over me to feel better about himself. Romance, fireworks, and a fairy tale ending on a relationship that is built with time and effort and trust and faith. Someone who lets me into the hard times and the good, the fun and the real.
The first thing people notice about me
I am different from the people I spend most of my time with. I work in a restaurant, but I don't cuss or smoke. That makes me stand out immediately. I want to be a thermostat, affecting the climate around me. I am not a thermometer, that gives a reading of the current temp. but can do nothing to change it. People at work know me as a good girl, but they also know me as someone who genuinely cares about them, who works hard, and doesn't use religion to put walls up between me and them.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I recently read Tolstoy's Anna Karenina. It was great because it was so much like life. The story follows two people, making different life choices. It seem through most of the book that the one making wrong choices is happier, and it is so frustrating because this other guy is searching for truth and making wise choices, but nothing seems to work out for him. Then in the end the tables turn and you see what is really going on.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Grace. God has given me grace in salvation, in my life, and even in future relationships that I know nothing about
- That whether I am single or in a relationship, I am loved, I am complete in Christ.
- My parents, brothers, sisters, brother-in-law, country, church, job, and friends. Who can name just three anyway?
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I have a lot of layers, never rely on first impressions. I look a lot younger than I am, so most people that don't know me well assume I am a college student or younger.
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Hard Working, Spiritual, Sweet
A little more about me
I have a stressful job with weird hours. Hopefully you are flexible and easy going to balance that out.
