More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about trying and learning new things. This includes exploring new places. I love to travel and see new places. I also love to try new restaurants and go to the theatre and movies. I am also passionate about relaxing on the golf course.

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, going to theatre & museums, traveling to new places, playing golf, spending time with people who are close to me. I also like to cook and enjoy a good bottle of wine.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who has a good sense of humor. It is important to be around people who can make you laugh. Someone who can find humor in the events of day to day life can help ease the stress we all experience. Someone who likes to travel and try new things are also important. Being willing to try new things means we will always be able to learn and grow.

The first thing people notice about me

My sense of humor. I have been told I am witty and clever and that seems to make people feel at ease around me quickly. It is nice to know that by being able to make others laugh I am able to make them relax and open up to me more easily.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I recently reread "All Creatures Great And Small" by James Herriot about a Vet in Yorkshire, England. I had not read it since I was a kid and I enjoyed the story about a more simple time and place. It was very good storytelling about real life in the English countryside.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My closeness with my family and friends
  2. My positive outook on life and its challenges
  3. Having been fortunate enough to have a nice variety of experiences

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I would like people to see the softer, caring, thoughtful side my friends and family see. Small thoughtful gestures for others are part of what keep you from taking those people closest to you for granted. It is important to show poeple you care about that they are important to you.

Friends Describe me as
