The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about many things: God, family, music, people, living and learning. Basically, it can be summed up in a quote. "It is not the length of life, but depth." I find this to be true in all area of my life.
I typically spend my leisure time
I mostly spend my free time visiting with family on the phone or with friends while at dinner, a movie, a performance, or church event. I spend time working on learning new music and other little projects like organizing pictures or catching up on my reading list.
The most influential person in my life has been
I think the most important quality in a relationship is great communication, true honesty. I know I need someone who has a relationship with God reflected in his daily life, not just as an obligation. It is also great to have the ability to recognize the important things in life and still be able to relax and enjoy.
The first thing people notice about me
I am a happy, cheerful person that is outgoing and talkative and loves to laugh.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I am starting to reread Jane Eyre. I like literature from that era and this one specifically because of the strong bond between Jane and Mr. Rochester. In spite of their individual pasts, their two souls come together in the end. I am also reading A Purpose Driven Life and a book about leading small groups.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My wonderful, big family
- God's favor in my life
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Sometimes, I continue to talk when I am nervous. I do have a quiet side and love to listen.
Friends Describe me as

A little more about me
I just moved back to the area after living in Chicago for a few years. I am glad to be back! The windy city is fun, but there is still no place like home. And just because I was raised on a farm, doesn't mean I know how to milk a cow.
