More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

One of the things I am most passionate about is working on my house. I own it with a friend of mine and we are fixing it up and hope to sell it soon. It is the second house we have. It started as a good way to have a house and maybe end up with a couple of bucks. We did pretty good on the first one and said why not do it again. I take alot of pride in working on it because it is mine and I get a great deal of satisfaction from it.

I typically spend my leisure time

Some of my leisure time is spent with my house. I like to play racquetball a couple of times week. I find it easier to exercise if I am playing something. I am also a big hockey fan.

The most influential person in my life has been

The most important thing I am looking for is someone who is going to be there when I need them. Someone who is going to listen to me, not to do what I say, but lend an ear or a shoulder to lean on. I know I would be there for them.

The first thing people notice about me

That I can be a liitle shy at first.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The last book I read was "Things My History Teacher Never Told Me." It was about things that happened in history that tend to get a little bit misrepresented when taught in high school history. I like reading up on history. There are some subjects in history that I think are more compelling than fiction. The thing I enjoyed most about it was I learned some pretty interesting things.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family. We are really close. When I see people who don't talk to parents or siblings, I realize what I have.
  2. My friends. I have some close friends who have been there for me in the past and I know will be there in the future, especiall when time are tough.
  3. I am thank ful for some simple things. Hanging out with my cousin at a game, a really good talk with someone I am interested in, or reading up on a subject that reall interests me.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I have a good sense of humor.

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

I am on this site because it seems to be a place where people are serious about meeting people. Not just a profile that says "I like to go to the gym and hang out"
