More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I beleive in education both in the sense of teaching and learning. I love to teach children.... I believe that they are our future. I also beleive in learning about new things, how to be a better person and in reading to "expand my horizons".

I typically spend my leisure time

I love to browse through books at the bookstore. I enjoy reading, going to movies, attending concerts and plays or even staying at home to watch TV or a video. I like watching sporting events (like baseball and soccer). I enjoy church and church events. I love spending time with my family, especially my daughters. I like taking walks and enjoy sunsets, shopping and "spa" days! I also am a bit of a geek when it comes to my laptop computer!

The most influential person in my life has been

If I only choose one quality, it would be honesty. If two individuals are honest with one another and communicating on a regular basis, then they have a good chance of making it through the difficult times and achieving trust, intimacy and loyalty with one another. A (very close) "second" choice would be monagamy, one special part of us that we share only with each other!

The first thing people notice about me

I hope it is my friendly and easy going nature. I like to smile :-)

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Dear John" by Nicholas Sparks. It was about a soldier who meets and falls in love with a student. Unfortunately, when the twin towers are destroyed and America invades Iraqi, it causes strife in the relationship. It was an excellent story. I enjoy reading books by Nicholas Sparks and Jodi Picoult to name a few.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. God's Love
  2. My Two Daughters
  3. My Home

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I generally feel that I am an "open" book and wear my heart on my sleeve. I think I am pretty easy to "read"!! However, looks can be deceiving and I feel you can't really "judge a book by it's cover".... you really have to get to know the person inside. It takes time and effort for that to happen!

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Good listener, Intelligent, Loyal

A little more about me

Politically, I am a pretty open and liberal thinker, more so than most christians. Just thought you might like to know!! :-)
