More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am very passionate about two things. First, I believe it is very important to be aware of what's going on in the world (news and politics). Second, I believe it is very important to be adventurous...make opportunities and make things happen.

I typically spend my leisure time

I do not like to sit idle. I'm always anxious to do something. So, in my leisure time I'm either at the gym, outside rock climbing, jogging, or something of the like.

The most influential person in my life has been

I would like to date somebody who is intelligent, active, and adventurous.

The first thing people notice about me

I think my outgoing personality is the first thing people will notice about me. My close friend, on the otherhand, tells me that it's my haircut.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished "In the Company of Heroes" by Michael Durant. He was the pilot of the Black Hawk that went down in Somalia...also well known from the movie "Black Hawk Down". His story of survival is amazing, and his take on the situation is very informative.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. my friends - the best in the world
  2. my life - never a dull moment
  3. my family - my support

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Honestly, I've never really thought about this. I guess I may come across as opinionated and strong willed, and maybe a bit overwhelming, but in the end, I know what's important (relationship, friendship, etc.) and I am dedicated to making these last. Then the question comes to mind...if I'm so willing to work so hard, then why am I still single? The reason I'm still single is because I have yet to find somebody who enjoys the same lifestyle as I do.
