More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

The search for true happiness and love with a Godly man. I guess that is what drives my passions lately. Although, singing runs a close second.

I typically spend my leisure time

Leisure time? That's a premium commodity these days. But, when the weather is moderate I love to fish. I've always wanted to try deep sea fishing. Love boating. Family time is important. In the winter months, I usually do a little reading, watch movies, etc.

The most influential person in my life has been

The first thing people notice about me

Very open, easy to get to know.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Bible. No other explanation needed on that one. However, I've started "Free at Last" by Tony Evans, about finding freedom through our identity in Christ. Also, "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. So far, it is an amazing read. I have a bad habit of starting more than one book at a time. I'm trying to be more disciplined.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My relationship with the Lord
  2. My family and friends
  3. My job

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Underneath a sometimes solemn exterior is a very witty sense of humor.

Friends Describe me as

Affectionate, Good listener, Kind, Spiritual

A little more about me

This is a huge step for me. I am a little fearful, but there is risk involved in every aspect of life. I do believe that love is more than a "warm, fuzzy feeling." I believe you GROW in love, not fall into it. Anything you can fall into, you can get up and walk out of. To me, love is a verb, it's action. I believe in having soul-mates. I want a man who will be my "priest" in our home. Building a friendship first in a relationship is crucial. Then if romantic love grows, good. God is always first.
