More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love to learn about anything and everything. Some people specialize but I like to sample here and there.

I typically spend my leisure time

I try to workout regularly and pursue my current hobbies. I enjoy playing the computer, both games and programming. I like to read all types of books and magazines. Right now I'm learning the guitar. When the weather is nice I like to do some road-cycling or run/walk at the park. Once upon a time I skied plenty (lived in Vermont for 2 years and PA has some decent slopes), took up martial arts (purple belt if I recall), learned to jet-ski and water-ski, crabbing & fishing, and indoor rock climbing. There's tons more... but I don't want to blab forever.

The most influential person in my life has been

I am looking for someone who loves to learn and be challenged by new experiences.

The first thing people notice about me

People have told me that I am a good listener and pretty sharp. I'm a little quiet at first but I open-up after awhile.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I read books in spurts and I tend to read more than one book at a time. God knows how I keep track of everything! The last complete book I read was 'The Da Vinci Code'. Superficially the book was about a murder mystery based on the pursuit of the holy grail. However, the book really was trying to poke some holes into the traditional views about peoples' belief systems. I think I enjoyed most reading about the controversy still surrounding the author and the book.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. brains / intelligence
  2. great mother/father/family
  3. comfortable home / secure job

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Most people don't notice that I am very loyal and persistent. They don't notice these qualities immediately because you can't rush either.

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Intelligent, Perceptive, Quiet
