More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Learning new things and meeting new people. Connecting with others, fixing things/making things work, and good conversation/debate.

I typically spend my leisure time

Well if I'm not doing some random errands like laundry, I usually need to wind down - so watching a movie, biking, reading a book, working out, having a few beers with friends. I love to fix things, work on odd projects, and play with whatever toy (cars, boats, painting, writing, etc) I find fascinated with at the moment.

The most influential person in my life has been

Well, naming a single quality would be tough...so I guess the person would have to be honest above all else. Intelligence, passion, friendliness, and a caring soul aren't bad traits either.

The first thing people notice about me

Well I wasn't sure about this one - so I asked my former roommate. She said my deep voice and that I have many eclectic interests. I thought that was kinda corny, so I think most people notice my outgoing personality, smile, and humor.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Simon Winchester's The Professor and the Madman - it is a non-fiction book about one of the main contributors to the Oxford English Dictionary. A friendship developed between two men (The editor of the dictionary and the Madman), who finally met after 20 years of written correspondence...turns out the Madman was truly mad and had been institutionalized for life after murdering a stranger during one of his delusions. I enjoyed the story and the prose - and random facts are cool too. It also served to remind me that your surroundings do not dictate nor contain your true goals and dreams.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Health of self, family, & friends
  2. Bonds between family and friends
  3. Station, education, & achievments

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm a sexy guy inside...heh only kidding. I'm not sure about this one. Sometimes I can be shy...depends on the circumstance. I know it doesn't make sense for an outgoing extrovert to be shy, but it happens.

Friends Describe me as

Good listener, Intelligent, Outgoing, Perceptive

A little more about me

There are things I'm sure about, just not some of these questions...heh.
