The one thing I am passionate about...
Woah! tough one in 50 words! How about "the inestimable potential of the human race". Potential for joy, for growth, for knowledge and advancement. To kindle and sustain a state of child-like euphoria and wonderment of life and the world we live in (in myself and others).
I typically spend my leisure time
Hmmm...other than... time with family and friends, travel, exercise, and (the ever popular) veging out to recharge, one hobby I get really excited about is writing. I've been working on a Novel for sometime and its incredibly fulfilling and satisfying. Hope to start my second soon...
The most influential person in my life has been
Serenity - this embodies: confidence (the opposite of insecurity), Strength of character, love of herself (the basis for all happiness), love and passion for me (the basis of all good relationships), and HAPPINESS (a general, deep, and permeating satisfaction in: herself, me, our lives, and our circumstances?the feeling that we are extremely lucky and are rightfully grateful)
The first thing people notice about me
That's a tough one...I've had people comment on the way I speak and express ideas. I take quite-a-bit of pride in that, so I'd guess I'd say: I'm sometimes perceived as articulate.
The last book I read and enjoyed
"The List of Seven" A swashbuckling story set in Victorian England (...Sherlock Holmes with an Indiana Jones feel...). What I liked most was that it was incredibly well written. I've never seen information or experience conveyed that effectively through the use of language.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My "self" as a person. (including health and intelligence)
- My daughter (this is second because I wouldn't be too much good to anyone without #1 above)
- My accomplishments (education, travel, etc.) and choices in my life
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
...also a tough one...let me think about that...
Friends Describe me as
Articulate, Intelligent, Quiet, Rational
A little more about me
...not that I can think of...
