The one thing I am passionate about...
Art (from museums, literature to popular fiction, movies), tending to one's spirituality and intuition, environmentally-friendly living habits that are relatively easy to implement, occasional lobbying or grassroots organizing for environmental and other political causes, honoring cultures and ritual (without ethnocentrism or dogmatism)
I typically spend my leisure time
Reading, movies, hiking, yoga, playing Native American Flute, Watercolor painting, digital photography, emailing with my friends
The most influential person in my life has been
I am seeking someone who is both grounded and spiritual, who thinks outside of the box, and is dynamic, and yet knows how to enjoy the moment and life. A person for whom work is not a mundane activity but part of an expression of who he is. Someone very fit and active, preferably 6' or taller. A guy who likes himself and how he looks.
The first thing people notice about me
My eyes - their expression of peace and optimism.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Autobiography of a Yogi, DaVinci Code, Lightworker's Way - Right now I am working on Through Time into Healing by Brian Weiss on Past Life Regression, and The Last Time They Met, by Anita Shreve, a fictional work. I am enjoying both.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My spiritual path, which has led me to interesting places, to meet wonderful people, and to understanding, love, happiness, growth
- My art (watercolor, music, photography, writing)
- My genetic inheritance - physically, mentally and emotionally, I am blessed
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
I am subtle - I tend to understand a lot very quickly and have a lot of great ideas. However, I don't have the kind of personality that promotes myself. My ideas and inspiration are often overlooked. Fortunately, this is not all the time, as I have learned to make myself heard...although it usually takes some time.
Friends Describe me as
