More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm most passionate about my walk with Jesus Christ! I want to know Him more! Family relationships are important to me, too. I also love sharing the Lord with my Spanish speaking friends.

I typically spend my leisure time

I like to talk to my mom and sister; we're the best of friends. I spend time helping immigrant families, planning and practicing for worship team. I also love a good book, taking walks, decorating, eating out with friends, and I enjoy a good movie (when I can find one, which is hard to do).

The most influential person in my life has been

Commitment to Jesus Christ, knowledge and experience of His love and grace. A mission vision (per the Great Commission), whether it be here or in another country. Being funny is great too!

The first thing people notice about me

What I notice about other people is their level of friendliness. So, I assume that's what others notice about me. My momma taught me to be friendly. :)

The last book I read and enjoyed

I just finished Uncle Tom's Cabin for the second time. Someone could get saved reading that book! It's about slavery in the South during the time of the Civil War. It was written by a lady who wanted to persuade people of the horrors of slavery. The main character, Tom, has the most trusting relationship with Jesus. It's so precious...it inspires within me an even deeper desire for a closer walk with the Lord. The character development in the book is superb. It's fictional, but all of the characters are so real in my mind and heart! The rich language the author uses is beautiful.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Jesus
  2. my family
  3. the church

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Most people don't know how dramatic and funny I can be when I'm truly relaxed!

Friends Describe me as

Genuine, Good listener, Spiritual, Warm

A little more about me

I speak Spanish pretty fluently (it's my second language) and some of my friends are Mexicans. I enjoy the Spanish language and Mexican food and culture. Also, I think it's important to know that I believe in all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as described in the Bible (healing, prophecy, tongues, teaching, hospitality, etc.) and go to a church that does too.
