The one thing I am passionate about...
I love traveling - seeing new places and meeting new people. I go to the theatre quite often. Mostly the live kind, although I like movies. I read a lot. I enjoy cooking and eating healthy. Work out at the gym. I do enjoy my job, but getting to that point where I'm thinking about retirement.
I typically spend my leisure time
Entertainment such as theatre, concerts, books, movies.Exercising - working out at the gym, walkingTravel - has pretty much been in the United States and Canada, but I love going places and seeing landmarks, museums and such. Meeting new people.
The most influential person in my life has been
Someone who will be a friend and companion throughout life - be supportive, have a good sense of humor, enjoy at least a few of the things I enjoy, and I'll learn new things they enjoy too!
The first thing people notice about me
I think my smile. I always try to maintain a warm and inviting attitude towards people. People notice that I really care about them.
The last book I read and enjoyed
I read so many different kinds of books that it's hard to pin down a certain type. I read science fiction, fantasy, romances, horror, classics, spy thrillers...everything. Over Christmas I read "A Place Called Freedom" by Ken Follett. It was OK, but not as good as some of his earlier works.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- my health
- my friends
- my love for theatre
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I am an intelligent and strong person. People tend to look at me and see a blue-eyed blonde, smiling at them and think she's nice but not strong and smart. Hopefully once they know me they will know that.
Friends Describe me as
Caring, Happy, Intelligent, Physically Fit
A little more about me
Just that I am very warm and loving. I really commit to relationships and get hurt when they don't work out. So only the serious need apply. I'm very intelligent but often shy about putting my opinions out there. I'd like someone who can help draw me out of my shell a little bit and will be patient with me along the way. That I have a good sense of humor and feel that is a necessity in life.
