The one thing I am passionate about...
Establishing, and maintaining,(by GOD's-blessing, and my lovely, faithful, delightful-wife's help), a truly: happy, healthy, faithful, loving, mutually-delight-producing, marriage, for eternity!(And, of course, as an adjunct to that pleasure, rearing our children, in an evironment, of love and character(GOD-pleasing, righteous-character, naturally)!)
I typically spend my leisure time
Quietly-contemplating, how to improve myself(as a man;a father;a servant(of GOD-the only personality, I could ever allow myself, to be subservient to);and. as a husband.
The most influential person in my life has been
Faithfulness! Faithfulness! Faithfulness! I, give my absolute ALL, to my mate!! I cannot tolerate, nor abide, her not giving me the same, of herself!(SORRY, that's my selfishness, coming to the fore!)
The first thing people notice about me
My calm, quiet self-confidence(at least, so I've been told).
The last book I read and enjoyed
The Perfect Storm(by the excellent Sebastian Junger). Men like myself, out earning 'danger-money'(as Ian Fleming, so 'coined' the phrase). It solidified for me, the ideas I had about writing, and, whether or no, there'd be an audience, for my writings-there is!
The three things which I am most thankful for
- The truths of GOD, I have been blessed to be given by GOD!
- My beautiful, wonderful, ever-intertaining and interesting, babies(I have full-legal-custody, of my beloved-little-ones, after my unfortunate divorce, of almost (5)five-years'-ago now.).
- Having been rescued from death-on more than one occasion-by Almighty-GOD, and, the strength-of-character, I have developed over my life, because of what I've overcome, and, because of what is inherently, in my heart!
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
My natural, inherent-shyness, and, live-and-let-live attitude.(Well, that is, live-andlet-live, unless, they trouble my loved-ones!)
Friends Describe me as
Affectionate, Good listener, Hard Working, Passionate
A little more about me
I exist, to love, and be loved. There is a poem, written long-ago, about a certain type of man, and it describes me, to a 'T';"...He shall do a dance, that none can imitate;loving those that love him, to the point, of being willing to die for them, and not grudgingly, but, rather, gladly!
