More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Life. There is always something new to learn and experience.

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, walking, exercising, visiting friends and family.

The most influential person in my life has been

Compassion for others and for yourself. This would be followed by a good sense of humor as there is so much of life that people take too seriously. The ability to laugh at life and one's self is a priceless gift. I appreciate and need honesty, kindness, and integrity in a relationship.

The first thing people notice about me

My sense of humor. It's a bit on the warped side :-) Hopefully it is offset by my warmth and caring side.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Life Lessons by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross and David Kessler (an excellent read). I almost always have a John Grisham or Scott Turow book somewhere near.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family and friends
  2. My two granddaughters
  3. My life and the ability to find peace in each day

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That once you get past my shyness, I am spunky, feisty, feminine, without needing alot of attention or to be the leader...

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Dependable, Easy-Going, Loyal

A little more about me

I love a good conversation, will talk about most anything and am not afraid to ask questions...Upbeat people make me smile...negative attitudes are annoying
