More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

After family and friends: saving our democracy from the profiteers who are currently in power.Helping others to make their dreams come true, being the best I can be, and inspiring others to do the same.Protecting our environment.

I typically spend my leisure time

Gardening, renovating my house, swimming, skiing, visiting with family & friends, keeping up with political developments via the internet. I also read a lot. Trips to Canada and Mexico for a change of pace.

The most influential person in my life has been

Vitality, friendliness, and a love of being alive. Penetrating intelligence and a solid inner sense of himself and his own worth.

The first thing people notice about me

My positive vibe. I am told I have a calming effect on others.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Not in His Image, by John Lamb Lash, a direct and penetrating analysis of what the three Abrahamic religions are really about, and The Science of Oneness, A Worldview for the Twenty-first Century, by Malcolm Hollick. It is a skillful and very thoughtful look at the connections between modern science, spirituality and human knowledge, both ancient and modern. Fascinating and thought-provoking.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My work, which changed my life, and became a wonderful adventure.
  2. My children and my friends.
  3. The excitement of learning new and deeper spiritual truths every day.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Probably nothing. I'm pretty much an open book.

Friends Describe me as

Intelligent, Optimistic, Perceptive, Spontaneous
