The one thing I am passionate about...
Seeing/Sharing/learning... I'm very curious... childlike sense of wonder and delight in the everyday. I love to touch, laugh, share ideas, associate many things with many things...love words and images that inspire, love to make things happen for the positive and bring a little joy, laughter and happiness into the lives of those I meet. I love to share a hug... affection so missing in so many lives. Encourage others to follow their dreams...and believe in themselves.
I typically spend my leisure time
Personal writing, writing to others, communicating quietly one to one, reading, photographing, playing the piano, walking... walking... walking...
The most influential person in my life has been
Superlatives so narrow: trustworthy would be tops... mixed with openness, affectionate, curious about life, compassionate, appreciation for joy, humor and beauty in life and people, multidimensional in interests and gifts, talents, experiences, kind and generous of heart...
The first thing people notice about me
My smile... my welcoming, curious nature.
The last book I read and enjoyed
"The Way of the Owl...Succeeding With Integrity in a Conflicted World" by Frank Rivers... an incredible book on leadership, honest relationship to self and others, and a win-win approach to conflict.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My relationship with my daughter
- My relationship with God/Spirit-Imagination/Creativity
- My relationship with friends
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
The right person for me would be compassionate, curious and honest enough to want to find the answer to this probably undulating script himself.
Friends Describe me as
Affectionate, Creative, Genuine, Perceptive
A little more about me
I am known for my generous, loving spirit. If I have a touchstone in life it's the joy of discovery...I love to learn about people, places, things, ideas, nature. I'm exquisitely sensitive to beauty and laughter. I love rhythm whether found in music, conversation, touch, pace, or the flow of water. I love to read about creativity and how our minds, bodies and hearts intertwine. Texture is an important part of my life...this is evident in my approach to people, writing and my photographic art. I enjoy experience... but experience that is thoughful, insightful, gently, laughingly fun or poignant. I do reflect deeply on life.
