More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm most passionate about living a full life: enjoying as much as I can, learning, sharing my experiences with others around me. That goal may translate differently on different days or with my friends, son, or family but its always the driver behind everything I do. I take the situations given to me and make the best of them.

I typically spend my leisure time

The "typical" activity really depends on the season. Examples include boating / swimming, working out, eating out, or travelling. I'm typically pretty active though. Love to go out at night....not a big TV watcher!

The most influential person in my life has been

Warm heart. A mature and self-aware woman who is happy, confident, and witty. Definitely not looking for perfection as I have my faults too, but looking for someone who understands the nature of a relationship.

The first thing people notice about me

My smile. I've always received compliments for that...probably because I'm an optimist, don't get stressed easily, and have learned that nothing is really that bad.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Flyboys" by James Bradley. Its a book about 8 naval pilots in the pacific theater of WWII (George Bush Sr. was one of them) who were shot down while bombing a communications position near Iwo Jima. The author uses this incident to highlight the terrible acts committed by both sides of the conflict....makes us Americans step back and think about our actions in the world.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My son. His continued health and development.
  2. Great job. Very blessed that it continues to challenge me to grow and learn.
  3. Great network of friends from college and different jobs that are always there.

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Hard Working, Intelligent, Optimistic
