More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am extremely passionate about education. I am a 5th through 8th grade Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teacher, and feel that anything is possible with an education. There is not a day that passes taht I'm not trying to find or create a way to promote my student's ability to learn and to strive for what they want.

I typically spend my leisure time

Reading, traveling, spending time with others.

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty. Trust. Common morals. Compatability and communication.

The first thing people notice about me

My passion about life and helping others, especially disadvantaged youth.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Tuesday's With Morie by Mitch Albom. This book was fantastic!!! Mitch Albom writes about his connection with an old college professor who has been stricken with Lou Gherig's disease, and their Tuesday meetings that occur each week; hence the title Tuesday's With Morie. I felt that this book was especially spectacular as it connects the reader with his or her own mortality and on the same token, it creates a new sense of passion for life... Mitch Albom was able to encompass an undescribable essence of life and connecting with one's inner self and appreciating the lessons that others have to offer, especially when they are least expected.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My faith in God.
  2. My family and friends.
  3. My students, as they teach me just as much as I feel that I teach them.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That's a difficult question. I feel that everyone to whom I feel close to knows everything that there is to know about me. I am a "no holds barred" type of person when it comes to creating relationships with people.

Friends Describe me as
