More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm really passionate about a lot of things. Passionate about family and friends-the relationships I share with them. I'm passionate about life. I'm passionate about continually working on myself-learning, growing, and improving. I'm really into school right now. I enjoy the challenges and the rewards it provides. It's great to be rewarded for hard work. I'm very motivated to do the best job I can possibly do. I have this lust for learning that's never quite satisfied. My childhood curiosity has never left me.

I typically spend my leisure time

When not studying, I'm usually with friends. When I'm alone, I love to straighten up and even organize a little bit. Cleaning is very therapeutic. I like to rearrange the furniture sometimes. Shop!

The most influential person in my life has been

I think kindness is so important. A genuine kindness. Loyalty is big too. I really admire people who try to do the next right thing. People who are working on themselves to be the best person they can be.

The first thing people notice about me

Usually how I'm feeling. My friends and family can immediately pick up on how it is that I'm feeling by just looking at me.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I read Alex Haley's Queen a while ago. It's about rejection, desperation and eventually happiness. The novel recounts Queen's anguished early years as a slave girl, longing to know who her father was, and how it gradually dawned on her that he was none other than her master. I loved the character Queen-a generally sympathetic figure, whose only sin is the fact that she was "tainted," so to speak, by her black blood. It was really a terrific book.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Friends and Family
  2. My Optimism
  3. My Health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I wish people complemented me on my eyes more. The other day, a woman told me I had beautiful eyes. It was such a great compliment. Probably because no one ever tells me this. They're green.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Good listener, Kind, Perceptive
