The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about people. I love meeting new people, building people up, watching people, talking to them, finding out how/why they tick. I love to laugh with people and have serious conversations. I love children and older people, yet I hate reality TV! Go figure!
I typically spend my leisure time
Reading, driving in the country, winetasting, gardening, long walks, talking with friends.
The most influential person in my life has been
Integtrity, humor, easy conversation, ambitious, energetic, full of life, self-assured, can laugh at self, likes people, positive outlook, no temper problems.
The first thing people notice about me
My easy going charismatic personality.
The last book I read and enjoyed
"The Secret Life of Bees" which takes place in the south during the Civil Rights Movement. A young white girl searches for clues to her deceased mother's life. She ends up living with a group of older black women and finds family, love, and acceptance. I liked the examples of reverse descrimination. I love historical novels. I read 2-3 books a month.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- I have a wonderful teenage daughter, who continues to help me stay young
- I rent a beautiful home that overlooks the Petaluma valley
- I have many people in my life who like me and love me unconditionally
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That although I appear totally independent, I really do need them.
Friends Describe me as
Energetic, Intelligent, Outgoing, Warm
A little more about me
I'm a low-maintenence woman who seeks depth/growth in a relationship that's full of mutual respect and understanding. But truth be told, I'm scared of failing again.
