More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I love the water- salt or fresh- and escape there as often as possible. I love my own company and don't mind if my partner needs free time as well. I am always studying and applying what I learn to be a better spiritual being having a very human experience.

I typically spend my leisure time

Clearing off my desk, reorganizing my house, watching a movie, walks, art shows, beach time, yoga, taking continuing ed classes; catching up with calls to all the people who are convinced I've been abducted. When I have a partner, obviously those things will change, but for now, I enjoy staying close to home base and deepening the friendships I have. The kids are on to college, so this is a transition time- I savor the quiet house with everything where I left it. And the possibilities are endless!!!

The most influential person in my life has been

Honesty. That covers a lot. I have to be able to trust without hesitation. With honesty, comes trust, and the possibility for a deeper, more intimate and spiritual connection.

The first thing people notice about me

That I love to laugh and to make eye contact- the eyes are so telling.

The last book I read and enjoyed

The Mayflower. A pretty dry, thick read, but very interesting. It's a wonder any of the Pilgrims survived, given all the mishaps along the way. Also telling how they totally took advantage of the natives in a bizarrely naive way. One cannot steal all the natives' dried corn in the dead of winter and simply leave an I.O.U. Really.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. my mind and quick, dry wit. Thanks Mom!
  2. my health and the absence of medical intervention
  3. my heart and its open nature. Forget "chemistry"! If my heart likes you, that's what matters.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm really still 25 at heart, just wiser, deeper and more forgiving.

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

I'm healthy and I love my life and my friends and my work. I am curvy, warm, fun, low-maintenance, athletic, presentable and trendy. I will never be a stick figure, and I don't apologize for that. Big Spirit=Sturdy Container. With that being said, I am agile, healthy, no lumps, bumps or cellulite. Great skin, all my teeth though I have contemplated Invisalign for the 1 slightly crooked tooth my parents chose to overlook. I have a wicked command of the language, quick wit, & can tell a funny story and I have a few. I'm not a complainer, a victim, or a golddigger. I have an ex, but that was 8 years ago and the kids are grown: ancient history.
