More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I'm passionate about using my life and skills to contribute to making the world a better place and continually strive to be a good(better)person. I know that sounds kinda heady but I think about that alot and try to live by that principle. I'm also passionate about and appreciate good design.

I typically spend my leisure time

Running ,cycling or swimming. Family & friends. Dance class. Love learning new things and trying new things. Catching up on home stuff.

The most influential person in my life has been

Intelligence and wittiness. Someone who is open and able to communicate their thoughts and feelings. (ok that was more than one...but you can't follow all the rules all the time...)

The first thing people notice about me

I'm quiet/shy but once I feel more comfortable with someone I probably don't know when to stop gabbing.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Into the Wild. True story about Chris McCandless, a guy would graduates from Emory, gives all his inheritance to charity and burns all his cash and then hitchhikes around the country on a journey that ultimately takes him to wilderness of Alaska to live off the land. Idealistic guy purposefully escaping consumerism and searching for an authentic life. Really interesting look at this kid's life. It's a quick read and just now out in film.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My family. They are incredible and supportive and loving.
  2. My friends.
  3. For having the time to discover and know who I am.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

...that I'm funny. I have my moments, but I (emphasis here on the 'I') think I'm funny. However, in general I think I come off as a serious person.

Friends Describe me as

Creative, Easy-Going, Passionate, Warm

A little more about me

I'd describe myself as grounded and genuine. I think this is a great way to meet people that match each other on many levels. Chemistry is really important too. Let's see if we have some together.
