The one thing I am passionate about...
I'm most passionate about learning. I'm always searching for understanding in some form, specifically about history how it relates to current events. I figure as long as I have a brain, I might as well use it every now and again :)
I typically spend my leisure time
Spending time outdoors, and/or indulging in one of my favorite hobbies, like hiking, reading, biking, hanging out with friends, and playing board games. I travel when I can find the time (to East Lansing, MI and Rochester, NY among other slightly more exotic locales), and I do carpentry/woodworking.
The most influential person in my life has been
The most important quality a person must have for me is a good heart. In other words, they must be trustworthy, honest, and kind. I'm not looking for perfection, simply someone who makes me feel better about myself, and makes me a better person for being with them.
The first thing people notice about me
My cynical wit?
The last book I read and enjoyed
The Count of Monte Cristo. It's a basic story of boy meets girl, rival has boy thrown into prison for life, boy escapes and extracts revenge on everyone who got him into said prediciment. It was well written and managed to make the reader forget some of the less plausible plot points.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- A chance to pursue my goals on my terms
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I exist :) Seriously, I'm not really sure what people do or don't noice about me off the bat. In depends on the particular social setting more than anything. They might think I'm a bit cold under some conditions, because I might not be all that chatty at first among a group of strangers, as I tend to feel out a situation before I put my foot in my mouth, but I'm certainly not once you get to know me!
Friends Describe me as
Dependable, Intelligent, Passionate, Thoughtful
A little more about me
I'm a strong believer that the perfect girlfriend should be a best friend and significant other all in one package.
