More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Music--not playing it but listening to it--live, CD, radio. Music probably moves me more than anything else. But I have lots of other passions too.

I typically spend my leisure time

Because of my job, I have lots of "leisure" time. Well, because I don't work a 40 hour week. I read, watch movies, and my dog and I take daily walks.

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is REAL. I don't like pretentious people who are trying to be something they are not. Be who you are, all the time. I am not trying to be anything but the best ME I can be. I like for others around me to be that way too.

The first thing people notice about me

That is kind of hard to say because people notice me because of how I look--short hair, very short hair and muscles. I don't look like a man but I am muscular. Then there is that "unapproachable" thing. People think I am unpproachable because of how I look but I think it is really their insecurity about how "they" look.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I am always reading, sometimes several things going at once. The last one I finished was Underachiever's Manifesto--The Guide to Accomplishing Little And Feeling Great. It was a quick read, funny, and very insightful. I found myself on most pages--I need to relax more and the book just points it out. It made me think about some things that make us who we are. Good little read.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. After leaving my parent's house, living on my OWN before going on with my life.
  2. Getting some professional therapy--helps you understand yourself--EVERYBODY needs some!
  3. Really knowing who I am and being true to me.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am a very interesting chick. There is more to me than a gym rat (which is a very real part of me). It is hard for those not in the gym to realize that is could be anything else except for my physical appearance.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Good listener, Loyal, Passionate

A little more about me

I am a very complex person. Just when you think you have got me figured out, boom--you learn something else new and exciting about me. I am not a person that you can easily pigeon hole. What you can say is that I am different.
