More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about integrating my faith in Christ into my daily life, in all areas. I continually try to understand how I can live "faithfully" in society. Oh yeah, I also love baseball!

I typically spend my leisure time

Right now, my leisure time isn't spent the way I normally would spend it. Since I don't have much, I pretty much watch Sportscenter and some do some physical stuff outside. I enjoy reading for pleasure as well. (I like a lot of different kinds of books.) However, I'm a fan of movies, musicals, coffeeshops, baseball games, ( I love baseball, and almost every other sport for that matter!) I like relaxing with others and shooting the breeze. I don't need an agenda all the time. Taking it easy is great, and something I'm learning to appreciate more than ever. I do have energy to do all kinds of stuff (like fill out online questionnaires.

The most influential person in my life has been

Faith in Christ is the most important thing. Faith is central to my relationships because it is central to who I am. I could now give the usual typical characteristics, (kind, attractive, funny, sweet, intelligent, etc.) but seriously, doesn't everybody want that? Who says, I want a mean, ugly, boring airhead for a partner in a relationship? -I've always wondered that.

The first thing people notice about me

Probably my ability to relate and talk to people. I enjoy good conversation, and I don't discriminate in who I talk to. If I'm in a situation where I don't know anyone, I generally have no problem adjusting and meeting new people.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis. A classic that I've known about for a long time, but I read recently, and it (along w/ other Lewis stuff) totally changed the way I think about how I understand my faith, and how I apply my faith to my thinking and conversing with others about all sorts of issues.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My faith,
  2. My family
  3. My friends ( I don't mean to be unoriginal, but w/o them, I'd be lost!)

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Great Question! That I enjoy peace and quiet as much as I enjoy being around people. This is something I have learned to appreciate. (Too much time in the library!) I think people assume everyone is "one way or the other" when it comes to personality, and I truly think I have both. I'm definitely an extrovert, but I have some introvert in me as well.

Friends Describe me as

Articulate, Good listener, Intelligent, Kind

A little more about me

(Photo: I'm on your right.) I'm a big fan of Basset Hounds. I've had one all of my "growing up" years at home, and I love dogs in general. Do you like Basset Hounds?
