More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I don't lead an inherently dangerous lifestyle but I am willing to take risks socially and career wise. Those who claim contentment and allow for indecision to make their decisions for them irk me. I work in a small village where new experiences/activities are rare. I compensate for this by traveling. Those who are equally active about their own life's happiness are attractive to me.

I typically spend my leisure time

Short burst of free time are spent playing cards and board games, watching movies, internet surfing, etc. More lengthy times of leisure are spent traveling, hiking, camping, etc.

The most influential person in my life has been

I am really looking for someone who is willing to become a great communicator. I would also hope for them to relatively independent.

The first thing people notice about me

My persistent nature to get to know other people.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I read a lot of Jr. High literature for my job. I recently read James Howe's "The Misfits" and "Totally Joe." They are fictional, first personal narratives about a group of unpopular friends who stand up to those who name-call and find a way to be themselves without being preachy.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family/Friends... I live in an isolated place and their encouragement and communication has been irreplaceable.
  2. Career... the stability it has given me financially and the opportunity to be creative.
  3. Experiences? My job naturally causes reflection. I am grateful for the challenges and the decisions I have been through.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I am loyal to a fault.

Friends Describe me as

Articulate, Easy-Going, Generous, Loyal

A little more about me

I'm not looking to move from my small village in the Alaska for the next few years. I am looking for someone who would like to be a part of my summer and winter breaks. Anything beyond that is just icing.
