The one thing I am passionate about...
Satisfying my curiosity; Pandora and I would have gotten along swimmingly. Constantly learning/reasearching. Spending time with a few good friends. Experiencing/loving the sensual world. Enjoying all sorts of films (Netflix!). Debating topics from multiple view points. Mysticism/spirituality: finding the commonalities. Books and music out the whahzoo.
I typically spend my leisure time
Day trips to green places and the ocean, enjoying the company of friends, reading and studying topics that are the current obssessions, working on increasing my financial IQ and building wealth, cooking and eating food from various parts of the globe, harassing my furball cat till she bites me, movies, live music in small venues, exploring hole-in-the-wall type places and local strangeness, try not to think about what a wreck certain dorkwads have made of our country...aarg.
The most influential person in my life has been
I so value people who are goofy/silly and have a dark/twisted sense of humor. But it is just as important that a person by genuine and forthright. I am a straight-shooter, and I don't do well with those who just want to play games with those they date. Tiring and silly, in my opinion. *yawn*
The first thing people notice about me
First off, my appearance tends to stun people...I'm taller than god AND I wear heels, I'm a big girl with curves for days, and I dress well/am confident. They just don't know how to deal with all that in a BBW. But people often comment about my knowledge in many strange areas and about my ability to research anything. It's that curiosity thing again. "Check out the big brain on Brad!" My love of archery also invites some strange comments.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Just re-read one of my most favoritest books ever: "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay." How can you not fall for a book that focuses on prestidigitation, escapists, Jewish mysticism in the Old Country, the Golem, comic books, the American Dream, great sex, and the sad/joyful sweetness of the human condition? I love this book so much I wanna marry it. "Carter Beats the Devil" is a close second.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My close friends mean the world to me. I love to spend a great deal of time with them & I value their input.
- The understanding that spirituality is not limited by people's ideas of it.
- Creative genius. Life is supremely better with inspiring music, writing and visual arts.

A little more about me
I can never live too far from the ocean; it's so tied in to my happiness and peace of mind.
