More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

My own skin. Specifically, getting though life without any new holes put into it. I love all my body parts, and I'm very focused on keeping them attached. I enjoy consuming oxygen (the gas, not the network), and would like to continue doing so for a long time. Other then that - I'm very laid back and can deal with just about anything that comes up. I don't need money, fame, junk, or whatever is "in" for the current 15 nano-seconds of popularity.

I typically spend my leisure time

I like to keep busy during leisure time. I like to travel (to nice places), work on projects or find something besides sitting around. I enjoy flying gliders out at Lake Elsinore too. I believe in service to others, and that people like me (who have been given great things) need to give back to people who may need help. I don't like to sit on my buns....

The most influential person in my life has been

Someone who is smart, fun and sexy (in that order). Someone who can be all the things that I'm not, argue with me, challenge me, but also be my best friend and supporter. Someone who makes me think...

The first thing people notice about me

Hard to guess - I would hope people view me as respectful, intelligent, and well spoken, but who knows? I try not to worry about things I can't control (i.e. what others think/notice)

The last book I read and enjoyed

Blink - great book about how humans can make really good (or really bad) decisions in a second or two. Sometimes - I don't think people trust their judgment enough. I'm also a big Heinlein fan, "Time enough for Love" and "The moon is a harsh mistress" gets re-read every few years, along with most of his other works...

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Being alive. Period. Everything else is a bonus.
  2. My friends and family
  3. Warm beds, clean clothes, and hot water (OK that's more then 3!)

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That I'm wearing clean socks? That I floss my teeth (seriously)? I really don't "wish" or "hope" people will notice things about me. Life is too short to worry about stuff like this. Life is about living it.

Friends Describe me as

Dependable, Intelligent, Physically Fit, Rational

A little more about me

I'm very laid back, low maintenance, and zero drama. Also - I'm in/out of the bathroom in under 10 minutes! You won't need to waste a lot of time pondering what I'm thinking/feeling - I'm easy to figure out, no instruction manual needed. I try hard to be someone that can be trusted/depended on and you should too. Oh - and please, I'm 100% turned off by little (under 40 lbs) yippy, barky dogs. I love doggies, but no matter how cute you think little 'Fluffy' is, I have to say - no thanks. Last thing - I work (mostly) in Chatsworth, but home is San Clemente (weekends) - I travel a lot right now, but hope that phase of my life will be over soon.
