The one thing I am passionate about...
Education and continued learning. Also looking foward to traveling the world in order to learn firsthand about various places and cultures. The passport is ready, now I am awaiting a suitable partner before getting started.
I typically spend my leisure time
Mountain biking, reading, movies, cooking, a little bit of TV (Sunday night cartoons) and working around the house. I like to travel, but alas it is so much more fun with a friend, so that has been limited lately. I am endlessly in school it seems, so there is study time involved.
The most influential person in my life has been
By the time one is 35 years young, you begin to realize that many people in today's world are not happy. They long for the unattainable, always believing that life would be better if they could reach the next level. That is not the quality I would be looking for. I enjoy people who are happy, strive to meet their goals, and are content when they do achieve something, regardless of how great or small. Simply seeing a smile on the face of your lover is enough to brighten the worst day at work, make one forget about bills, or any other trials life may offer. If anyone feels the same way, you have that quality. Hopeless Romantics Welcome!
The first thing people notice about me
Most people seem to notice the very focused and intent look in my eyes. Some people say it is piercing, others say a bit spooky. The level of knowledge and honesty shown to myself and others shows through even in my appearance. That along with the inquisitive stare might be the best way to state this.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Books, there are very few times I do not have several open at one time. Perhaps one that others could gauge my personality by would be the book George Carlin released a few years back titled, When will Jesus bring the pork chops. Nobody can poke fun at people in general like George, and the humor is hard to deny, because it is all shockingly true. I also read the normal horror, drama, and anything to due with genetic engineering gone bad.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- The ability to work, continue my education, and live well.
- The experiences offered by great friends, past and present.
- Great food, wine, and company at the dinner table.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
This would be my level of friendliness and acceptance of others. Due to my rather professional look and appearance, often times the most interesting people assume they have nothing in common with me, they are often wrong.
Friends Describe me as
Hard Working, Intelligent, Rational, Romantic
A little more about me
It always seems in life that one must choose between stable and boring, or a bit overzealous and fun. I am always looking for a good match to my own personality, fun and youthful, yet always employed and foward looking, able to get excited about a rock concert, but able to spend a few nights at home doing nothing at all. Anyone who would interest me greatly would have to be young at heart, fun, exciting, a risk taker, interested in excercise, healthly lifestyles, and staying young forever. Think employed, responsible, yet a little wild and lots of fun!
