More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about family, friends, & traveling. My family is the best & I make sure that they know how much I appreciate them. Great friends are a close second. The world & the people within it fascinate me, so I try to see am much of it & them as possible. I also enjoy movies & plan to film one (on no-budget) within the year. I also really enjoy playing basketball. Those are the biggies.

I typically spend my leisure time

What little leisure time I have, I usually spend watching movies, playing basketball, or just hanging with friends & family catching up on what has happened the past week or whatever. I also try to make time to travel whenever I get a chance.

The most influential person in my life has been

The top qualities that I'm looking for in a woman is a great sense of humor & a sense of perspective. I don't want a woman that's going to blow things out of proportion, but rather keep in all in perspective & appreciate the many great things that surrounds her...then maybe make a smart-allic comment about it...because I probably will.

The first thing people notice about me

Height. "Do you play basketball?" "Yeah, do you play miniature golf?" (Again the smart-allic comments) I really don't mind it...and the ladies typically don't either. It's just the way it is.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Lies my Teacher Told Me" by James Loewen. It's about how history is written by the winners & it investigated what really happened during the Revolution, Civil War, and those mysterious years between the Emancipation Proclamation & the Depression. It was very interesting, but my favorite part was about the Founding Fathers...because I've always pictured the Founding Fathers as pretty average people rather than the Super Heroes of Democracy that they're made out to be. No doubt they were great men (for the most part), but they're people with flaws just like the rest of us...and that's great.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Great Family
  2. Great Friends
  3. Great Health

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I really am a nice guy. Most girls think that I'm just trying to trick them into taking their clothes off like every other guy out there...but I act the same charming way to old ladies & people that I have no intention of sleeping with. Sometimes, it's just hard being so sweet & charming. Everything thinks that you're planning something sinister.
