The one thing I am passionate about...
I am passionate about honesty, loyalty and compassion - be genuine. I prefer all the cards on the table so there are no surprises and there is no wondering. I tell it straight, so I expect people to do the same for me.
I typically spend my leisure time
Leisure time? Umm.........what's that? I can say though that when it's bed time and my gorgeous puppy goes into her crate, the geek in me comes out and I do Sudoku for a while. Other things that I find extremely therapeutic - trekking through the woods, hiking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting, quilting, baking.
The most influential person in my life has been
There is no ONE most important thing. Some qualtities: honesty, loyalty, faithfulness, intelligence, humor, understanding, compassion, financial stability.
The first thing people notice about me
I have no idea - does my smile count as part of my appearance? Perhaps my level of confidence - I think that intimidates a lot of people, though - it shouldn't! I wouldn't hurt a fly.
The last book I read and enjoyed
Harry Potter - repeatedly. I like the light reading, creativity, and escape. I only read at night before bed and I don't want my head full of anything deep or disturbing. I can still be deep and thoughtful - intelligence is very important to me - but when it's time to sleep....happy thoughts! My dreams are far too vivid for anything else.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My children
- My friends
- My job
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
Nothing - I honestly don't care WHAT people notice - that would be vain. I am a good person and once the relationship develops - THEN I care what is noticed.
Friends Describe me as
Creative, Intelligent, Loyal, Passionate
A little more about me
I am very devoted to my children (I have one living at home full-time - the others are with their dad during the school year - they are much older), and I'm devoted to my animals. Whoever decides he wants to spend time with me must be ready to spend time with my dog - she's a gorgeous, 4 month old Rottweiler. The sweetest, most gentle dog you'll ever meet. I don't go many places without her. What kind of a mommy would I be if I did?
