More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

honestyfriendshipsocial justicefoodthe earth and this lifemy spirituality

I typically spend my leisure time

Walking especially in the woods. I love spending time outdoors in nature. I will walk anywhere in nature! I love swimming in the ocean but don't get there as often as I would like. I spend as much time with friends as I can. I spend time alone reading, cooking, and listening to all kinds of music--world, rock, blues, folk, drums, and even some country. I love dancing.

The most influential person in my life has been

open minded, not afraid to feela generous heart and spiritwarm and loving personthe qualities of a relationship two people can form are even more important to me than any individual qualities.

The first thing people notice about me

I am open to new people, new perspectives and make others feel welcome. I have a good mind & calm presence.I am real, I genuinely care about people. I am also intuitive and perceptive.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Dry by Augustin Bouroughs. It was a sequal to his first book, Running with Scissors. Dry is about his alcoholism and recovery. Bouroughs' perceptiveness and humor about himself was wonderful. I have to read alot for my work---books on leadership, ethics, groups.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I am thankful for my health and my capacities
  2. My family and my dear friends
  3. My work

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My strength comes from my ability to feel, express, and hear emotions, and from my spirituality.

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Hard Working, Intelligent, Perceptive
