More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am most passionate about relationships. I am a teacher and a coach and my life is centered around developing and maintaining relationships. I am also passionate about my relationship with Christ.

I typically spend my leisure time

I am a very active person. I play softball (both womens league and coed) and I play sand volleyball and indoor volleyball. I am a softball and volleyball coach as well. Lately I have really liked my kickboxing class at my gym. Although, I try to stay active alot, I really enjoy just sitting and watching a good movie too. Another thing that is one of my favorites is to go to Barnes and Noble or Borders and get some coffee and browse books!

The most influential person in my life has been

Leadership! I really want a man to be the leader that God has designed him to be: A leader in our relationship and a leader in the home.

The first thing people notice about me

My spirit. I have a strong sense of drive and sometimes it can come across as stubbornness, but usually it is just a sense of purpose to never give up.

The last book I read and enjoyed

Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell. This is a GREAT Christian book that gets you to think outside of the box! God is not so small as to be put into a box, yet many times we live that way and limit what he can do! I loved it! Here is a quote from the book....."So many of us have been conditioned to think of our faith as solely an issue of us and God. But faith is a communal experience. A shared journey..... Being a Christian is not cutting yourself off from real life; it is entering into it more fully."

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My faith - without my faith, I would not be the person that I am today.
  2. My family - my family knows me and loves me unconditionally.
  3. My friends - I have been blessed with knowing some of the most wonderful people in my life.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

My intentions.

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Hard Working, Outgoing, Passionate

A little more about me

I am a pretty social person - I love to meet new people. For as much as I enjoy being around others, I have another side where I can curl up on the couch and not move for 4 hours... I tend to live in extremes alot.. I either have WAY too much going on in my life, or I am bored out of my mind... This is an area that I am continually working on in my life!
