The one thing I am passionate about...
Living in a way I am comfortable with. For me, that means living a healthy lifestyle, with healthy eating and daily exercise (fast food lovers need not apply). It also means spending time doing the things you love, which for me involves reading, pretty much anything outdoors, especially hiking and camping, and playing games (board games, Tennis, Soccer, flag football, cards, Candyland, it's all pretty fun). Finally, I like to be aware of my surroundings, both without (international, national events, politics, causes and such I believe in and follow), and within (I think there is not enough introspection in the world).
I typically spend my leisure time
Leisure time, what is that?
The most influential person in my life has been
Ability to carry on a conversation. A meaningful conversation, whatever the topic, whether it be politics, science, or the really heavy stuff like amusement parks, or cotton candy...
The first thing people notice about me
Probably the dichotomy between my ability to be very outgoing in large groups but very personal one on one. If I know you well, I will be willing to talk about any topic, personal, professional, cultural, etc...
The last book I read and enjoyed
I enjoy every book I read, and I'm usually trying to read a few at the same time. I often wonder why people in general don't read more.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- Passion, for things as varied as the Red Sox to conservationism.
- A good sense of self.
- The way I was brought up to be able to both strive to better myself while stopping to appreciate the smaller things.
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I have a lot of passion for the things, ideas, and causes I care about.
Friends Describe me as
Articulate, Intelligent, Physically Fit, Quiet
A little more about me
You will never get me to go hunting, but you can't tear me away from a camping trip. Same goes for movies, I will watch all of them, and haven't found too many I don't enjoy at least a little. I'm a member of the Sierra Club. I think everyone should try to do something active everyday, and that there are too many people willing to just walk through life with their eyes closed... There's always more to say...
