More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I absolutely love to go downhill skiing. I'm starting my 15th year and have gone all over the country. The views from the mountain summits are amazing. It's fun to just forget about everything else and just fly down the side of a mountain.

I typically spend my leisure time

I try and either swim, lift, or run at least 5 days a week. When I'm not doing that, I like to watch movies and listen to/play music. Also, I'm always up for hanging out with friends and grabbing a beer.

The most influential person in my life has been

Similar interests and goals. At this point I want to meet someone that I can spend my days (and activities) with. Yes you need to be attracted to the other person, but in the long run, having many things you both like to talk about and do together is going to be important.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm quiet. When I don't know people, it's usually much harder for me to talk to them. Once I get to know them, I open up and start joking around. People usually notice that after the fact.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I typically don't to a lot of pleasure reading. After 20+ years of having my nose stuck in class textbooks, I like to do something besides reading with my free time. However, the last book that I did read was High Exposure. It was about all the climbers on Everest in 1996 when things didn't go so well. I liked reading about how unique and extreme the environment was and how people survive up ther. I guess it's fitting that the highest mountain in the world has some of the most amazing stories.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. All the opportunities my parents have given me
  2. My education
  3. My dog

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

That people think I'm funny. As I mentioned above, I'm usually pretty quiet when I first meet people, so I keep the jokes under wraps.

Friends Describe me as

Funny, Hard Working, Intelligent, Physically Fit
