The one thing I am passionate about...
I am most passionate about my relationships in my life. I like to have close relationships with friends and family. I can make friends really easily, no problem. Keeping those relationships that are real and true is whats important to me. Many people can come and go in your life, few stay for the long haul.
I typically spend my leisure time
I like to hang out with some close friends and I do go out once in awhile. But I'm not a big bar/party girl. I mean I love partying with my friends, but I'm not into going out all the time. I could totally be a homebody, I have all my creature comforts at home. Plus my doggie Dakota likes it the more I am home. But the places I do love to go out are concerts. I love music, any and every kind, and live music is that much better. Some people spend their money on trips to the lake, I go to concerts. To each their own....
The most influential person in my life has been
Someone who can enjoy my wonderful sense of humor, and someone who has one of their own. My ideal partner would be someone that makes me laugh every day. Someone who respects me, but can also put me in my place when I need it. Those who loves us don't always tell us what we want to hear. And most above all, I want a friend. Someone who I can feel relaxed with.
The first thing people notice about me
My sense of humor definitely or my laid back, down to earth side of my personality
The last book I read and enjoyed
The last book I read was Albert Camus' The Plague, but I didnt really enjoy it. I have to read a lot of book and articles for class. But the last book I read AND enjoyed, was Augusten Burrough's Dry. It was about him working in advertising, being a drunk and going through Rehab/AA. You don't expect it to be about that at first....but as all his stories are, its an amazing read. I just bought the rest of his writings Sellevision, Magical Thinking and Possible Side Affects. I cant wait to read the rest. I work in a library, so I have a huge pile of leisure books I have yet to read.
The three things which I am most thankful for
- My education.
- My friends
- My family-for all the imprint leaving, outstanding personalities that have existed in my family and for me to be so lucky to witness it!
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me
That I'm not really a shy person. I can come off shy at first, but I just like to get to know someone before I show them the real me. But if you're close to me, you know the real me. I hold nothing back, am totally upfront and honest most of the time. I think its the best way to be. Better to be hated for who you are, than loved for what you're not.
Friends Describe me as
